My Favorite Wedding.

I love shooting weddings.
My cousin Amy's wedding last summer has been by far my favorite because I was able to fly to Chicago to do it! Amy grew up with my aunt and uncle and her sister in Africa as missionaries, so they incorporated Africa into their ceremony.  They were married under a thatch roof in an open park. The grass and trees were SO green and there were NO bugs. It was perfect. From bongos playing to an African gift-giving dance to washing each other's feet as a symbol of serving each other their wedding was absolutely beautiful. The Reception was a Italian potluck buffet-definatly a different idea then what i was used too, but it was SO good!  A dance preceded the meal outside and was so fun!
Enjoy some pictures from their day!
